Based in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton), Laree Payne Gallery is regionally located yet runs a programme befitting Aotearoa’s largest cities. Operating from the vault and quarters of a bygone bank within the Riverbank Mall, the Gallery is located in the heart of the city with an exceptional view of the Waikato Awa. Showing a selection of artists from around the country as well as from Australia, we always look forward to stretching our legs and showing at the Aotearoa Art Fair.
For our 2025 presentation we look forward to showcasing the work of five artists. Jack Hadley bridges the two presentations with new works that simultaneously furnish the Gallery booth, these include a table and four unique chairs alongside works which function as lamps. The first presentation (which will run across Thursday and Friday) will include works of scale by Maioha Kara and paintings by Heidi Brickell. On Saturday and Sunday we will present paintings on linen by Sarah Smuts-Kennedy alongside beaded works by Australian artist, Alasdair McLuckie.
