Laree Payne is delighted to reveal a new body of work by Gallery artist, Laura Williams. Comprising seven works in total, Heavy Toad dips in - and out - of a number of ongoing series that the artist usually exhibits in discrete presentations. Building on the Withering Gaze series (one of which is pictured), Williams' growing body of work which centres the overcome Saint Veronica (at a scale not previously seen), the Amuse-Bouche 'palette cleaner' series alongside the outcome of Williams' recent collaboration with New Zealand musician, Tom Scott, Heavy Toad presents a resplendent array of colour, vibe and thematic concern.
